Art 1: Registration
Any registration in the surf school will be done from the registration form which must be duly completed by the parents or the legal guardian if it is a minor, or by the person concerned if it is an adult person. Classes are payable upon registration.
Art 2: Cancellation of lessons
In the event of bad weather conditions (sea calm or too rough, storm or pollution) the lessons that cannot be carried out as part of the package subscribed will be:
- Postponed to a later date
- Refunded if postponement is not possible
In the event of cancellation of the course by the student, it cannot be reimbursed (except in the specific case of a medical contraindication – medical certificate to be provided)
Art 3: Responsibility of instructors
The trainees will be taken care of by the instructor(s) from the start of their lessons. They will again be under the responsibility of their parents or legal guardians at the end of their course. The civil liability of the school concerning its students ceases outside these hours.
Parents must before leaving their children at the surf school, ensure that the planned service takes place.
The surf school declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft of objects on the premises or means of transport.
Art 4: Insurance
All students are insured by the FFS school license which insures them for the duration of the surf course at Authentique Ecole de Surf.
Art 5: Commitment of the structure
As part of the chosen package, the surf school undertakes to respect the Quality Charter of the “Ecole Française de surf” and “Qualité Tourisme” label in terms of quality of reception, teaching, supervision and of security.
The necessary equipment (wetsuit, boards, etc.) will be provided to members during class hours.
The school disclaims all liability in the event of non-compliance with the Instructors’ safety instructions.
Art 6: Commitment of students
By enrolling in the surf school, underage surfers and their parents accept the risks associated with surfing under normal conditions.
The trainee agrees to take care of the school equipment for the duration of the course.
Art 7: Transport by vehicle
The surf school undertakes to ensure the transport of trainees in compliance with the regulations in force: (for surf camps)
licensed driver required
vehicle insurance coverage
respect of the maximum number of passengers
vehicle clean and in good condition (compulsory reviews)
